Thermax is pleased to announce that our manufacturing facility in Mexico has received the Industria Limpia (Clean Industry) certificate by the PROFEPA (The Federal Office for Environmental Protection ~ La Procuraduría Federal de Protección al Ambiente). This voluntary audit demonstrates Thermax's compliance with the standards, terms of reference, and other applicable laws regarding the environment.

The Clean Industry program involves a rigorous review of a site's compliance with applicable regulations relating to air, water, waste, noise and other environmental risk factors by certified third-party auditors. Any deficiencies noted in the review are documented and corrective action plans are agreed upon between PROFEPA and the site. Sites that successfully pass the inspection process, including documented closure of any action items identified during the review, obtain a "National Clean Industry Certificate" from PROFEPA. The certificate is valid for a two-year period, after which the site must be recertified.

As global awareness for environmental imprints grows, Thermax is proud that it contributes to this endeavour.
